I Have to Stop It!

"I have no time."
This is what she said when I asked her about blogging.

A friend of mine stopped blogging because she could not manage her time well. She found it hard when she became a college student. As freshman, she had a tight schedule that made her put away her blog and focused on her college life. She was very busy. She went to the university on week days and did part-time job as tutor in a course on weekends. In the evening, she also had to help her sister in tutoring elementary school students who join her sister's course. The course is started at 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Being a college student with tight schedule and a tutor in two courses is so tiring. Therefore, she decided to stop blogging.

Actually, she started to use blog when she was in senior high school. Her first writing that has been posted was an assignment about argumentative writing. After that, she uploaded random content in her blog until finally she chose 'book review' as the topic for her blog. She usually uploaded her writings once a month. But, after being a college student she rarely posts her writing and stops blogging at the beginning of 2019.

I also asked her the reason why she blogs and she mentioned two reasons. First, she can share her story and experience through blogging. She posted random content such as, her story of life, short stories, and sometimes she wrote about her friend’s experiences. She is very happy and pleased when people read her writings. The second reason is that she loves writing. She loves to write what she feels such as writing a diary, stories, and many more. Therefore, she used blog as the platform to share her writings.
There is something funny that I found from our talk. She said that she ever posted a personal matter in her blog and within a minute she just deletes the post. What comes up in my mind is just like "Oh My God, how can she post that kind of writing? Did she lose her mind?" ---
But, yeah fortunately she realized what she has been done is not a good thing.

That is the story of my friend's experience in blogging. Where is yours?

  1. These are some mistakes that I found in your blog:

    1. The opening, there are double apostrophes occured in the sentence ""I have no time""
    2. I think the sentence below should be joined to a single sentence by using the word "therefore" as the bridge. And I think the word "is" should be changed to past tense since your paragraph is talking about past event.

    This is my recommendation:
"Being a college student with tight schedule and a tutor in two courses at once was so tiring for her, therefore, she decided to stop blogging."

    3. The arrangement of the paragraphs doesn't look so well because the second paragraph's spacing is different to the others. (It is just an advice)

    4. Lastly, I think you need to pay more attention to the grammatical mistakes for once again because I also found some words that should be in past tense in paragrpah 4, like the word "is", "deletes", "can", etc.
