Before this outpouring concern about this deadly virus, my life was full of colors. Maybe to a lot of people college isn't that exciting. But to be blatantly honest, I really do enjoy coming to classes and actually seeing people. As an extrovert, it is so tough to stay in and not go out of the house. Before this virus made its way to Indonesia, every time I am free, I would also go out and do something. I would go on evening strolls by myself, I would have bakso dates with my girl friends, and I usually stop by my house before returning back to my boarding house. Unfortunately, I had to stop myself from doing that as often.
Editing Videos
However, I guess it wasn't all that bad. I went through this phase of self-discovery, where I figured out a lot of things about myself that I didn't know before. I also got to develop a lot of soft skills which really benefited me. I know you're probably wondering about what I did during this quarantine.. right? So let me just get to it then.
Binge Watching Drakor
Yup... I did it. It took me a week to finish two drakor, and that's a record right there. I never would have thought that I would be so into Oppa Oppa Korea. I guess this quarantine really gave me a lot of time to catch up with drakor, because when I would have real classes, I wouldn't have the time to watch anything. But thanks to this virus, I got to watch a couple of drakor.

Okay, aside from watching drakor, I also did a lot of productive activities such as editing videos. Yes, videos. Not only for class assignments, but also because I do freelance and I make videos, teaching people English. Now this is what I meant by self-discovery. I used to be non-tech savvy, and because of this opportunity, I got to explore a lot about editing and automatically I also had to use my laptop often, which I don't do unless I need to read journal articles or do assignments. So, I am really grateful for that.
