https://uwp1ss12014styleblog.wordpress.com Dear students,  We are coming to the end of the semester. I hope the learning experiences that have gone through a massive shift from face to face to online meeting do not hinder you to learn well. Perhaps the experiences do hinder you, but I hope we learn a lot too from the dramatic change. I am happy that one by one, each of you submitting your work. Please remind each other to submit their final project. It will not hurt anyone to ensure that everyone submits their work.  On the D-day of final meeting, you will write an essay on the reflection of the whole process of the Blog Writing class. What points should you write? Please check your course profile! The essay needs to be posted on our class blog by that day. Kind regards, Anik Wulyani

Why Staying at Home is The Right Thing to Do and How to Enjoy It

Why Staying at Home is The Right Thing to Do and How to Enjoy It With the pandemic of coronavirus (COVID-19), we are required to do physical distancing by staying at home during these times. This means that we can not go outside and do our routine as before because we may risk spreading or being infected with the coronavirus. Staying at home right now is surely boring for most of us, but we must realize that it is actually the right thing to do. Here is why. First of all, staying at home protects yourself and the others from the infection. Coronavirus spreads through the means of physical contact, not just through coughing or sneezing unlike the ordinary flu. The more physical contact happened, the greater the chance of the virus spreading. This is why the government has advised us to do physical distancing where we can not go outside and meeting the people unless absolutely necessary, because the virus will spread and we may get infected. Second, we may also spread infection to the ot...

Pandemic everywhere

Hi guys! sorry for the late post as I keep forgetting to post one (can't help but being honest at this point, online classes are something else #nohate) I'll just keep it short: I hope you guys are doing well, eats well, sleeps well (not too well or you might miss your deadline like I did myself several times.), and communicate well with those you value dearly 😍. Here's my post about things that I've realized during this pandemic. I hope COVID-19 will be eradicated soon. I found an interesting pantun that conveys my feelings regarding this pandemic "Dua tiga, tadika mesra I wish that I could wake up with amnesia:" - @loverofhoods,twitter. source:twitter.com/loverofhoods

Quarantine and Chill

Before this outpouring concern about this deadly virus, my life was full of colors. Maybe to a lot of people college isn't that exciting. But to be blatantly honest, I really do enjoy coming to classes and actually seeing people. As an extrovert, it is so tough to stay in and not go out of the house. Before this virus made its way to Indonesia, every time I am free, I would also go out and do something. I would go on evening strolls by myself, I would have bakso dates with my girl friends, and I usually stop by my house before returning back to my boarding house. Unfortunately, I had to stop myself from doing that as often.  However, I guess it wasn't all that bad. I went through this phase of self-discovery, where I figured out a lot of things about myself that I didn't know before. I also got to develop a lot of soft skills which really benefited me. I know you're probably wondering about what I did during this quarantine.. right? So let me just get to it then.  ...
