Writing diary as an entertaining fictional story, uwu~

Hello guys! πŸ˜„

One beautiful morning, with a cig between my index finger and my middle finger I was chilling in Q3 canteen, scrolling my phone when there was suddenly a message of duty, as I called it popped in.

"*Blog Writing Assignment week 4*

*Assignment 1:* Interview a person or two who have used or haven’t used blog and write a blog post in the Class Blog
(Individual assignment)

*Due date : 18/02/2020, 11:59 AM*"

The moment I saw that message, chills run through my blood, my neck hair shriveled, and I was ready to finally be part of my childhood dream: a writer.

That's what I thought when I joined this class.

Of course, when I knew that I actually have to write a blog, I was super confused because I don't think I have a good writing, whether it is hand writing or writing a content. But since this is an assignment I have to do it anyway.

So for the past three days, I have been interviewing a friend of mine who was a blogger in 2013.

As she don't want to be known, she asked if I could change her name, so here we go:

A encountered blog when she was in senior high school, A saw her friend's blog and was hooked right away with it. She thought blog as a brilliant invention back then which allows us to write diary while not being so obvious about it.

"Dia upload tulisannya, dan kubaca. Dan baru tau kalo itu blog."

Since then, she tried to make her own blog, and her concept was writing a diary in fiction manner. She would write her own personal experience but she change the characters so that it wouldn't be obvious that she was actually writing a diary.

I noticed that in early-2010ish, many people including my friends were eager to write using blogger as their medium to share their minds.

Here's what A thought about what a blog is:

"Itu forum dimana orang2 bisa share apa yg diminati, misal yg suka nulis cerita, atau tentang pelajaran juga. Yg suka baca2 bisa baca cerita yg lain yg ada di blog itu."

In A's blog, she poured her feelings to be read by her readers, but in rather entertaining way.

"Kalo aku sih emang pengalaman, tapi namanya bukan namaku pasti. Dan ada sedikit yg disesuaikan. Dan mesti ganti nama, seakan akan bukan cerita ku."

"Kalo aku sih emang pengalaman, tapi namanya bukan namaku pasti. Dan ada sedikit yg disesuaikan."

"Dan mesti ganti nama, seakan akan bukan cerita ku"

At this point was fascinated by her view towards blog. Since I'm a person who's uncomfortable with sharing my stories and my experiences that I've been through publicly, she still write it anyway. So I asked how did she feel when she found out there are actually people who read her blog, she shyly replied:

"Seneng pasti πŸ˜‚."

And then finally I asked why did she quit, she told me she don't have free time to write these days. She use Instagram as her medium to write short quotes.

But she still continues to write on her own these days and she don't post it.

"cuman pengen cerita aja sih."

  2. Wow, keep up the good work! You’ve successfully made your post interactive which is the most interesting part. I actually can’t make a good blog as you did. I bet you can be the writer as you’ve been dreaming of. Well, here are my corrections.

    1. Each word of the tittle must begin with capital letter.

    2. “The moment I saw that message, chills run through my blood”
the word “run” should be written in the past form.

    3. You typed the following statement twice.
"Kalo aku sih emang pengalaman, tapi namanya bukan namaku pasti. Dan ada sedikit yg disesuaikan. Dan mesti ganti nama, seakan akan bukan cerita ku."

"Kalo aku sih emang pengalaman, tapi namanya bukan namaku pasti. Dan ada sedikit yg disesuaikan."
"Dan mesti ganti nama, seakan akan bukan cerita ku"

    4. What if we add the subject for the following sentence?
“At this point (subject) was fascinated by her view towards blog. Since I'm a person who's uncomfortable with sharing my stories and my experiences that ….”

Well, I guess that’s it. I'm looking forward to hearing from you for your feedback because I’m afraid that my corrections need to be corrected as well lol. Thank you.

Ey yo, my fish members! I think we are kind of late on making the discussion report for the midterm on the class blog since we were too focused on discussing through WhatsApp, but it's better than no discussion at all, right? Now that we are incredibly close to the midterm, there are some aspects that we need to discuss: 1. The platform that we will use to post the articles for the midterm, 2. The title and description, plus what will we cover in our blog, 3. Dividing the tasks, who is responsible of which, 4. The drafting, editing, and publishing process, and 5. The visual design of the blog. Come and go, let's merry the comment sections with our discussions! Member of the group: Anisatul I Ayu Triananingrum Danti P. Sukma Tsania N. Muthoharoh
