Writing to heal,
That is the answer I got when I asked my
friend why in the past few years she started to write on blogs. My friend is a
blog writer, but she prefers to call her blog as an online diary. She started
writing a blog when she was in middle school when it was for educational
purposes only, but after time goes by she was hooked to write in a personal
blog. She also added that since writing her experiences and concerns on the
blog she felt much more relieved. Not merely about bitter experiences,
sometimes she also writes experiences that tickle.
"Sometimes, you don't
have to write seriously in a blog, the important thing is you have your own way
to express your writing to readers."
She
added, Raditya Dika was also influential in writing her personal blog. Radit's
writing style is very light, and the topic itself is taken from personal
experience, so it is attached to everyday life. From Radit's writings, she also
concluded that sad experience, even if packaged properly, can be a comedy.
Blog as a confide platform
At first, it might sound simple, she wrote
so that she could vent her emotions and be more expressive because actually, she
needed a place to confide and at the same time self-reflection. At that time
she did not immediately share his posts to the public, just for privacy.
However, after writing several times on her blog, she began to think about, what
if there were people who had the same problem, who knows, by bringing her writing to the public could help anyone out there. Although the contents of the blog seem personal, if
executed properly, it will certainly become an interesting power for the
readers. In addition to containing confide about the experiences and problems
that have been passed, my friend also said, she prefers to confide in the blog
because it can get feedback and other responses from fellow blog users.

Read, Read, and Read
How important is reading for your blogging needs?I asked her.
It's really important, it was like if you want to take an exam, you have to prepare the material to be tested, so you have to read books, articles, or whatever that can support the material that you will write on the blog.
She also often blog walking to other
people's blogs, just visiting and giving feedback. More than that, blog walking can also be one way to review our writing on the blog so that it can be better
and most importantly it can add relationships among bloggers.

Hello, this is Danti. I'm using Ruby's account because I left my phone at home.
ReplyDeleteThank you for writing this. I found new information and vocabulary, like confide, from your post.
I think there are several mistakes. For example gender pronoun error on the fourth paragraph can confused readers. The diction can be quite confusing as well, e.g. "tickle". Maybe if you can elaborate more it'll make sense. Also please be careful when to use verb, adjective, noun, etc.
Overall, I agree with your point that if a writing packaged properly, can evade emotions of the readers.😉
