“I do
have a blog and still exist among other websites, but the problem is I haven’t
written anything on my blog for quite a long time,”
Blogging is a matter of
persistence and passion. It is almost nothing to do whether you are the expert in
writing and creating a blog or not. I took this statement as an appetizer in my
article since the condition is proven by a friend of mine, an expert in
writing, designing a website, and any other things related to computer science.
“There were about a thousand people visiting my blog every day”
During our conversation, he
mentioned that blogging was his routine at the time. It was started when he was
in his third year of middle school. For him, a blog is a medium in which he can
express his thoughts, ideas, and identity as it were to tell a story to
someone. He uses the blog as a portfolio platform for his creative writing skills
such as opinions, tips, poems, and short stories. As he found blogging exciting
and fun, he continued to improve his blog’s quality from both the content and
design so that it will raise his blog traffic. Through this statement, I was triggered
to ask whether or not he knew about Search Engine Optimization (SEO). He said
yes and he proudly mentioned his daily blog visitors that reach around
a thousand visitors every day.
“Seven years ago, I was a winner in a blog competition,”
A former exist because they have quit a particular role they were used to do. My friend continued to
tell me that he was on fire to create a professional blog until he joined a
blog competition in his first year of high school. He made it to the second
prize but then something else began. As a high school student, he started
getting busier and the desire to try new things came up upon him. He stated
that that is the reason why he is inactive in blogging.
“Blogging is a digital friend apart from
those in social media”
Although he takes a break in the
world of blogging, he mentioned there is a possibility that he would return to
be an active blogger. As his closing statement, he stated that blogging can be
a fun activity in leisure time as it can be a friend in the digital world to
express ourselves. “So, yeah, I’m still gathering
motivation. It’s a matter of time whether my blog will be active again or not,”
said the man who is working on his thesis now.
In conclusion, a blogger needs to be
persistent and passionate after deciding to build a blog. Isn’t it such a
bummer to abandon a well-built blog?

This article is very well written and the flow of the sentences is really smooth, it makes me understand the main points that become the focus of the article. I was quite sad when it ends. I agree with the interviewee's opinions regarding to blogging that it needs persistence since it would be such a bad thing to waste a well-built blog. However, I found some errors in the article, which actually will be overlooked by most of the readers but I would like to point them out so that you may improve your article to be better. Some errors that I found are:
ReplyDelete1. In the beginning, your very first statement, there is a grammatical error. You should've add "it" before "still exist" which should've been "exists", otherwise you would refer to the word "I" in the front of the sentence, not the blog itself.
2. You should put some period or comma in the end of the quotation.
3. "It almost has nothing to do ..." sounds better rather than without the word "has".
Thank youu for the suggestions. Actually your suggestions are the things that I changed before the class. Your first and third suggestions are exactly what I wrote before ._.
