Ey yo, my fish members! I think we are kind of late on making the discussion report for the midterm on the class blog since we were too focused on discussing through WhatsApp, but it's better than no discussion at all, right? Now that we are incredibly close to the midterm, there are some aspects that we need to discuss: 1. The platform that we will use to post the articles for the midterm, 2. The title and description, plus what will we cover in our blog, 3. Dividing the tasks, who is responsible of which, 4. The drafting, editing, and publishing process, and 5. The visual design of the blog. Come and go, let's merry the comment sections with our discussions! Member of the group: Anisatul I Ayu Triananingrum Danti P. Sukma Tsania N. Muthoharoh

2. The 3 tips I learned in order to make a good blog is, first, to always check your writing. Revise it if needed, make sure that everything is grammatically correct and your ideas flow nicely. Second, use images, because believe it or not, a hooking image can capture a person’s interest. People can get bored if they’re only reading your writing, they need something eye-catching! And putting some images will do good. Third, have a good title. After all, it is the first impression that the reader has before reading the blog.

Yes, I have read the articles from the links you have attached, Maam. From the articles my answers to your questions would be:
ReplyDelete1. In almost all blogs I've found, people make a blog as their method to promote and attract audience to come, see, and review what is in their blog. Going from this purpose, having a good blog will surely essential for them to attract and ven lure their audience to come back again later. A good blog will leave a sense of curiousity to the audience to always check what is new with your blog whether the content or the visual design of the blog.
2. I chose these three tips out of the rest as the essential points for me. First, valuable content is considered the crucial one as it must reflect the topic of our blog and provide the content as valueable as possible for the audience. Second, research as we need to provide a valuable content for the audience then doing a research is a good thing. By conducting research it will differentiate your content from your competitors’ and make your blog to be more credible. Third, create a killer SEO and blog design. The visual appearance is the first thing that the audience see and it can optimize your page viewer. A good management of SEO for will also make your blog can be found easily by the targeted audience through search engines.
3. The eight habits of highly effective bloggers would be the need to be productive and keep updated with new content, be concise to attract the audience, be critical by observing the activities in blog to keep it optimum, be a life long learners to keep updated with the new trends and knowledge, focused on the topic of the blog and consistent in producing new content, have a future plan for the blog, be persistent, and be responsible to themselves such as in time management.
Yes, Ma'am. Here are the answers of the questions:
ReplyDelete1. We need a good blog to express our great ideas or products on a good platform. A good blog grabs people's interest and makes them stick to it. We can also get money if we have a good blog.
2. Three tips I found interesting and useful are editorial calendar, categories, and valuable content. Editorial calendar can be a reminder for bloggers to keep writing because they have "a deadline". Categories help bloggers to create niche, so they don't just write randomly and keep interested readers stay. Above all, I think valuable content is the most significant. In addition to what Andita said, readers have spared the time to read, so we shouldn't let them down by writing something awful.
3. 8 habits of highly effective bloggers are writing a lot, keeping the writing concise, creating post s based on analytics, staying update, being focused amd consistent, having plan, being persistent, and being able to manage themselves.
1. We need a good blog because if we have a 'so-so' blog, the readers will not read what's inside our blog. We have to make our blog as appealing as possible to the readers, but not too much. A very eye-catching blog sometimes will make the readers feel 'grossed' by the design and and overall layout of our blog. So we need to keep in mind that a good blog is a blog that have a good combination between a good content and an appealing layout/design.
ReplyDelete2. The first tips that I really keep in mind is the blog platform. If we are familiar with the technical features of a blog and have some decent understanding of a web, we better use our own domain instead of a free-domain because of the high level of customizable features that is provided when we have our own domain. The second tip is to follow the ongoing trends and issues. It will be much easier for us as a newbie blogger to write on what is going viral because there are a lot of references. The last one is to focus on one particular topic. Too much topics that is being covered in a blog is just confusing to the readers.
3. A good blogger needs to write a lot. They also need to write a compact yet full of useful informations instead of nonsense fluff. To make an informative posts, they need to be analytical. And by being analytical, they need to keep learning and follow the trends and issues. Then they have to be consistent on what they are writing on their blog. In order to be consistent, they have to plan ahead what they are going to write. They also need to be persistent as a blogger. And finally, they must be able to manage their time.
